Tennessee transfer Ray Kasongo has committed to Iowa State, the Cyclones confirmed.
The Canadian forward will sit out the 2016-17 campaign, per NCAA transfer rules, and then have two years of eligibility remaining. Kasongo averaged 1.4 points and 1.5 rebounds in limited action for the Volunteers last season, but will look to have a greater impact on the Cyclones.
TCU and Illinois were among the other schools reportedly interested in Kasongo's services upon announcing his decision to leave Tennessee.
