Charles Barkley wants to get Nick Saban stuck in Guantanamo Bay

Shanna Lockwood-USA TODAY Sports

Auburn-Alabama is a heated rivalry and Auburn alum Charles Barkley doesn't hide his love of the Tigers.

Barkley does applaud Alabama coach Nick Saban, telling Rick Karle of WBRC Fox Birmingham, he's "the greatest football coach ever."

However, the NBA Hall of Famer does have a plan for how the Tigers and the rest of college football can slow down Saban and the Crimson Tide.

"I want to go to Cuba. ...I want to take Saban with me," Barkley said. "There's no chance he'd ever come back. We're not playing golf ... I'm going to try and get him to Guantanamo Bay and get him stuck there."

Barkley was clearly joking, but what is no laughing matter for Tigers fans is Auburn losing six of the last eight Iron Bowl games to Alabama.
