Oklahoma State regents will vote Friday on a two-year contract extension for head coach Mike Gundy, reports Kyle Frederickson of The Oklahoman.

If approved, Gundy would remain under contract with the Cowboys through the 2021 season. He's halfway through an eight-year deal signed following the 2011 season, and is set to make about $30 million over the life of the existing contract.

Gundy has been at Oklahoma State's helm for 11 seasons, and has taken his alma mater to a bowl game in 10 of them.

Overall, the 48-year-old has a 94-47 record as the Cowboys' head coach.
