4-star CB Stanford Samuels pledges to Florida State

Florida State picked up one of the top recruits in the 2017 class Thursday, as four-star cornerback Stanford Samuels commitment to the Seminoles.

Rated by ESPN as the No. 3 cornerback and the No. 34 overall recruit in his cycle, Samuels picked Florida State over Alabama, Ohio State, LSU, Oklahoma, and numerous other top-tier programs.

Samuels instantly becomes the highest-ranked recruit to commit to Florida State for the 2017 season. He's the sixth ESPN 300 prospect to join Jimbo Fisher's class.
