Jeremy Brevard-USA TODAY Sports

Florida State head coach Jimbo Fisher received some nice news Wednesday when four-star safety Daniel Wright committed to the Seminoles 2017 class.

Wright, who also had offers from Alabama, Clemson, LSU, and Florida, made his announcement via his Twitter account.

The 6-foot-0, 168 pound safety was ranked sixth best for his position in the nation and the 17th best prospect in his home state of Florida.

Wright plays at St. Thomas Aquinas High School in Fort Lauderdale, Fla.
