Evra won two tackles, secured two interceptions and put in four crosses in a Man of the Match effort during Wednesday's 2-0 win over Albania.

Analysis:

After an inauspicious first match, the fullback put in an excellent all-around performance Wednesday as France hung tough to grind out a late win. Evra is a fixture at left fullback for the host country and should resemble the player from Wednesday's match more than the player from the opener as the tournament rolls on. He should feature again in Sunday's match versus Switzerland with first place in the group at stake.
