Report: Toronto FC shoots down Serie A offer for Michael Bradley
Toronto FC captain Michael Bradley is reportedly a subject of interest from Serie A side Sampdoria, with the Canadian outfit apparently shooting down a deal, according to Toronto-based reporter Kurtis Larson.

Larson's report follows others in Italy indicating the U.S. captain was one of Sampdoria's transfer targets alongside Sparta Prague forward Patrik Schick.
Bradley joined Toronto in 2014 and has been the captain of the club for the last two seasons. He's currently with the United States men's national team and preparing for Argentina in the Copa America Centenario semi-finals.
The former Roma man commands a $6.5-million salary with the Reds as one of their three Designated Players. The 28-year-old maintains a positive reputation in Italy after plying his trade in the capital and with Chievo for three seasons.
The Serie A summer transfer window opens July 1.
Bradley has made 62 league appearances for Toronto in the last three years, scoring seven goals and recording 11 assists in that time.
