Texas lands Arkansas-Little Rock transfer Isom

What was reported last week became official Monday, when Texas officially welcomed Little Rock transfer Mareik Isom.

Isom, a forward, will be immediately eligible as a grad transfer after averaging 5.9 points and 2.7 rebounds last season.

"We're very pleased to add Mo to our basketball program," head coach Shaka Smart said. "He is a high-character person who understands what goes into winning and will add significant outside shooting ability to our team."

It's been a good few days for Smart and the Longhorns, as they also pulled in five-star Jarrett Allen on Friday.
