Tennessee, Virginia Tech to clash at Bristol Speedway

Both Tennessee and Virginia Tech have been campaigning for years to play a game at NASCAR's Bristol Speedway.
Sept. 10 at 8 p.m., they get their wish.
The game will be played on the infield of the historic Speedway and is expected to draw nearly 150,000 fans, which would smash the single-game college football record.
The current record is 115,109 from a 2013 game between Notre Dame and Michigan at Michigan Stadium.
The Speedway, known as the fastest half-mile, is located halfway between the two schools.
To go along with the event, country star, Kenny Chesney will hold a concert the night before on the Speedway's backstretch.
