La Salle's Goodman withdraws from classes for personal reasons

In a surprising turn of events, La Salle forward Savon Goodman has withdrawn from classes for personal reasons.

The Explorers issued a one-sentence statement on their website regarding the recent development.

Goodman had previously committed to the Explorers as a graduate transfer a month and a half ago after two years at Arizona State. Goodman would have been eligible to play this season under NCAA graduate transfer rules.

The 6-foot-6, 220-pound forward made the move to La Salle after a season in which he averaged 21 minutes along with 9.6 points and 6.4 rebounds with the Sun Devils. Goodman had only been enrolled in class for a matter of weeks before withdrawing.
