Things have gone south of late for the boys on the south side of Chicago, but Todd Frazier continues to do his part to pull the White Sox out of their recent skid.

In the sixth inning of Tuesday's tilt against the New York Mets at Citi Field, the 30-year-old grabbed solo possession of first place on the MLB leaderboard with his 16th homer of the year, a two-run blast that snapped Steven Matz's scoreless streak at 19 innings.

Frazier, who smashed a career-high 35 homers last year, now has 10 more home runs than the next most prolific slugger on the White Sox (Brett Lawrie, with six).
