Cubs fan gets tattoo guaranteeing World Series win by 2019
The Chicago Cubs boast the best record in MLB entering play Tuesday, and while there's still plenty of baseball left to be played, one confident fan thinks they could go all the way this season. Or next season, or maybe the season after that.
Following the Cubs' 2015 playoff run, Dean Masini got a tattoo of the team's logo along with the words "World Series Champions," followed by the years 1907, 1908, and 201_. The indeterminate year also includes a comma at the end, just in case the Cubs end up winning more than one.
Masini tweeted the photo in March, but it's just now catching the attention of media outlets.
