Following a short stint in the NBA, David Blatt is heading back overseas to continue his legacy as one of the greatest coaches in the history of Euroleague.

Blatt will join Darussafaka on a long-term deal worth up to $2 million per season, European basketball reporter David Pick reports, citing a source.

Darussafaka isn't yet a powerhouse, but the Istanbul-based club features former Philadelphia 76ers draft pick Scottie Wilbekin, former Cleveland Cavaliers forward Luke Harangody, along with Turkish notables Furkan Aldemir and Semih Erden.

Blatt's resume includes a Euroleague title from 2014, a Euroleague Coach of the Year award in the same year, along with six Israeli Cups and five Israeli League championships during his wildly successful stint with Maccabi Tel Aviv.

Upon his move to the NBA, Blatt led the Cavaliers to the NBA Finals last season and posted a record of 83-40 before being dismissed.
