On Monday, as part of Major League Baseball's efforts to recognize U.S. servicemen/women for Memorial Day, 92-year-old World War II veteran Burke Waldron got to throw out the first pitch at Safeco Field, and, well, the left-hander can still bring it.

"It was so great," Waldron said. "My first practice pitch, about a week ago, went about 20 feet, but I was able to make it almost to home plate today."
