The Dallas Cowboys have an abundance of talent at the running back position, but they apparently aren't looking to offload any of their veteran depth.

With first-round pick Ezekiel Elliott likely to be the featured back this upcoming season, carries for Alfred Morris and Darren McFadden could be few and far between.

However, executive vice president Stephen Jones said that while Dallas has received interest for the two veteran backs, his team is simply not willing to move them.

"We got calls during the draft asking to trade for a couple of our running backs, and we just don't have that interest," Jones said, according to Charean Williams of the Fort Worth Star-Telegram.

It'll be interesting to see if Dallas' stance will change later in the offseason, when Elliott is firmly entrenched atop the depth chart. It's also possible the Cowboys will wait until the season begins to offload either Morris or McFadden, when their value will likely skyrocket when injuries to other team's backs inevitably occur.

For now, the team appears set on keeping the veterans as competition for their first-round pick.
