Former Ohio State guard A.J. Harris is transferring to New Mexico State, he told Jon Rothstein of CBS Sports on Friday.

Harris, an undergraduate, will have to sit out the 2016-17 season to satisfy NCAA transfer requirements, but will have three years of eligibility remaining afterward.

In his one and only campaign with the Buckeyes, Harris averaged 2.8 points and shot 32.3 percent from the field in 13.7 minutes of action per game.
