Texans' Mercilus enlists fans to help find lost dogs
The pain of a lost pet is one of the worst feelings in the world and it's one Houston Texans rush linebacker Whitney Mercilus is feeling this week.
Mercilus posted a message to his Twitter account early Thursday asking for help finding his dogs Rocky and Princess, who apparently escaped from his Houston-area home.
My dogs Rocky & Princess are missing. If you are down near Pearland I'd appreciate you keeping ur eyes open for them pic.twitter.com/sqGzEjVfrB

Fans were quickly on the case, with one tweeting a promising lead to Mercilus:

Unfortunately, as of early Friday afternoon the dogs were still at large:
I truly appreciate all the RTs and well wishes. We are still looking for Rocky and Princess but have some leads. You guys are awesome👌🏾
