Indiana's Blackmon Jr. withdraws from draft, Williams reportedly stays in

Steven Branscombe-USA TODAY Sports

Indiana got some good news and some bad news Wednesday, as James Blackmon Jr. will return for his junior season, but Troy Williams will reportedly remain in the 2016 NBA Draft after signing with an agent.

Blackmon, a 6-foot-4, 195-pound guard, only played in 13 games last season due to injury, but flashed his advanced scoring potential during that time. In just 24.5 minutes of action per contest, the Indiana native poured in 15.8 points and also added 4.2 rebounds.

Williams, a 6-foot-7, 215-pound junior, scored 13.3 points per game and added 5.8 rebounds in 26.2 minutes of action during the 2015-16 season. His athleticism is certainly at a professional level, but his offensive game is very limited at this point.

Losing Williams, along with point guard Yogi Ferrell, will hurt coach Tom Crean and the Hoosiers for next season, but Blackmon's return will keep them among the top programs in the Big Ten
