The Philadelphia Union announced Tuesday that the club has recalled Michael Lahoud from his loan at the New York Cosmos in the North American Soccer League (NASL) and subsequently sold the defensive midfielder to NASL outfit Miami FC for an undisclosed amount.

"Mike always served the club in a professional manner during his time here," club sporting director Earnie Stewart said in a statement. "We thank him for his service and want to wish him the best of luck in Miami and in his future endeavors."

Lahoud joined the Cosmos on loan in January, having originally joined the Union in 2012 out of the now-defunct Chivas USA. He made 58 appearances with Philadelphia, registering one assist in that time.
