NYCFC, Red Bulls fans clash ahead of Hudson River Derby

It's a bit surreal to see soccer supporters brawling in the streets of the Big Apple, but, alas, here we are.
Soccer has finally arrived in the United States, but in its ugliest form.
New York City FC and New York Red Bulls fans clashed ahead of a Hudson River Derby match held at Yankee Stadium on Saturday, throwing punches, beer bottles, and other objects at one another while screaming obscenities as police officers tried to keep the peace.
This rivalry, though just two years old, is already attracting the wrong sort of attention. It's a shame, since the two teams had kept the banter strictly to friendly jabs on Twitter prior to this incident.
