Former Texas CB Bryson Echols lands at Arizona State

Richard Mackson-USA TODAY Sports

Former Texas cornerback Bryson Echols has found a home for his final year of college eligibility, as the 5-foot-10 junior announced he's headed to Arizona State.

Echols struggled for playing time in his third season with the Longhorns, registering just three tackles.

Having just graduated at the completion of the spring semester, the Texan will be available immediately for the Sun Devils as a graduate transfer.

The move to the Pac-12 school reunites him with former Longhorns receivers coach Jay Norvell, who left Texas earlier this season for a job with the Sun Devils.
