L2M Report: Westbrook wasn't only one who traveled, Curry did too

Kelley L Cox-USA TODAY Sports

The NBA's Last Two Minute Report from Monday's Game 1 of the Western Conference finals confirmed that Russell Westbrook got away with a blatant travel while trying to signal a timeout request during the fourth quarter of the Oklahoma City Thunder's 108-102 win.

The play, which happened with 18 seconds left in the game and the Thunder leading by three, left Golden State Warriors coach Steve Kerr apoplectic on the sideline.

"Westbrook turns toward the referee to request a timeout as he slides his pivot foot," Tuesday's report stated. "The referee is focused on a possible take foul or timeout and misses the travel violation."

Late Monday night, the NBA's senior vice president of replay and referee operations Joe Borgia said that Westbrook should've been whistled.

The Last Two Minute Report also concluded that Stephen Curry traveled himself with 7.8 seconds remaining, something that was not called.
