It's not often that an outfielder gets a chance to pitch - and it's even rarer for said outfielder to have the gall to throw an eephus - but these are the kind of shenanigans that go down in the 18th inning of a Triple-A game.

Summoned to throw the 18th for Triple-A Salt Lake on Saturday - the seventh Bees "pitcher" to get the ball in the five-hour, 29-minute affair - Quintin Berry got creative with his first offering to Keon Broxton, unloading a 41-mph eephus to kick off his second relief appearance in professional baseball. (Yes, that is the same Quintin Berry who's 27-for-28 in stolen-base chances over parts of four seasons in the majors).

It missed the plate by about 10 feet, but, fortunately for Berry, there were only about three fans left to witness it.
