A Maryland team decimated by early NBA draft defections bolstered its roster Monday, as Duquesne graduate transfer L.G. Gill told ESPN he's committed to the Terrapins for the 2016-17 season.

In his junior season with the Dukes, the 6-foot-7, 210-pound Gill averaged 10.1 points and 6.5 rebounds in 30 minutes of action per contest, and chose Maryland over Marquette for his final season of eligibility.

The Terrapins could possibly lose all five 2015-16 starters to the NBA this upcoming season. Jake Layman and Rasheed Sulaimon both graduated from school and hope to pursue professional careers, while Robert Carter, Diamond Stone, and Melo Trimble all declared early for the draft. Trimble is the only one of the trio not to sign an agent, leaving open the possibility of a return to the college ranks.

As per NCAA regulations, Gill will be available immediately as a graduate transfer.
