4-star signee Romello White requests release from Georgia Tech

A change of heart has prompted four-star signee Romello White to ask Georgia Tech for his release, even though he's already penned his letter of intent, his mother told ESPN's Jeff Goodman.
What caused White to change his mind isn't known, but the 6-foot-9 forward committed in September 2015, long before the Yellow Jackets overhauled their coaching staff and brought Josh Pastner over from Memphis.
Auburn, Iowa State, and Virginia were among the other programs to offer White a scholarship before he picked Georgia Tech.
White is Georgia Tech's top-rated signee.
