Newspaper headline hilariously forgets 'f' in 'shifts'

Joe Nicholson / USA TODAY Sports

Opponents stink at defending against hot-hitting Mariners second baseman Robinson Cano. Just ask the Everett Herald.

Cano's resurgence this season has set the tone early for the first-place Mariners, who entered Friday riding a four-game winning streak and the American League's best run differential.

Not to dump on teams, but the left-handed hitting All-Star is indeed making opponents pay for their defensive alignments. Four of Cano's 15 extra-base hits this season have been to the opposite field.
