Klopp: 'No doubt' about Jordan Henderson's Euro 2016 availability

Liverpool captain Jordan Henderson should be available for England's Euro 2016 campaign after club manager Jurgen Klopp described him as being "in a really good way" following a lateral knee ligament injury.

He could be in contention for the Reds' Europa League final with Sevilla on May 18 too, if Henderson is able to take the pitch for their final Premier League match of the season against West Bromwich Albion.

England begins the tournament in France against Russia in Marseille on June 11.

"Hendo is in a really good way so it's good for England," Klopp said. "There's no doubt about him being fit for the European Championships.

"I saw in his eyes he thinks he has a chance (of being fit for the final), so that's the first and most important step in the right direction."

England boss Roy Hodgson has expressed caution about selecting players for Euro 2016 when they're not fully fit, but has regularly used Henderson for international duty when available. The ex-Sunderland midfielder has 23 caps for the Three Lions.

Liverpool finishes off its domestic season with matches against Watford, Chelsea and West Brom before its Europa League showpiece at FC Basel's St. Jakob-Park.
