Alabama added some scoring pop early Monday, as Morehead State's Corban Collins committed to the Crimson Tide as a graduate transfer.

The 6-foot-3, 190-pound guard confirmed the news on Twitter, shortly after coach Avery Johnson hinted at something big coming for the program.

Collins led the Eagles in scoring during his junior campaign in 2015-16, averaging 11 points per game, while making 43 percent of his shots from beyond the arc. With guard Justin Coleman leaving the program via transfer, Collins should slide right in and fill that void.

It's not the North Carolina native's first go in the SEC, as he began his collegiate career in 2012 with LSU. After playing just nine minutes per game in his freshman campaign, Collins transferred to Morehead State.

As per NCAA regulations, Collins will be eligible immediately as a graduate transfer.
