Tennessee's NFL draft drought extends to 2nd year
Jim Brown-USA TODAY Sports
Despite being a relatively attractive destination for recruits each season, Tennessee was shut out of the NFL draft for the second straight year.
The Volunteers only had two draft-eligible players - linebacker Curt Maggitt and wide receiver Marquez North - and neither got the phone call they were waiting for.
Tennessee is the only SEC team to not produce a draft pick in 2016. Last year, the Volunteers were held without a draft pick for the first time since 1964.
