Kalan Reed was rendered "Mr. Irrelevant" when the Tennessee Titans selected him with the final pick of the 2016 NFL Draft.

The cornerback out of Southern Miss will likely compete against B.W. Webb and Josh Aubrey for a spot in the Titans' rotation.

Tennessee may have acquired Reed at excellent value. Pro Football Focus graded Reed as the third-best cornerback in coverage last season.

Reed ran a 4.38 40-yard dash during his pro day, and his straight-line speed will be an asset among the Titans' secondary.

Arizona Cardinals tight end Gerald Christian was last year's "Mr. Irrelevant." He was placed on season-ending injured reserve after he tore his MCL during the preseason.
