Adam LaRoche, who unilaterally decided while under contract with the Chicago White Sox that every day was Take Your Child to Work Day, reminded all his Twitter followers Wednesday evening that, well, the actual Take Your Child to Work Day is coming up.

LaRoche's baseball career came to an unceremonious end last month, of course, when he decided to retire after allegedly being told by White Sox executive vice president Ken Williams not to bring his 14-year-old son, Drake, into the clubhouse anymore.

Last week, though, the 36-year-old first baseman reiterated during an appearance on "Good Morning America" that he doesn't regret his decision to leave the White Sox and forfeit the $13 million left on his contract.

"I haven't lost an ounce of sleep," LaRoche said. "I mean, I have zero regrets."
