Bradley Wright-Phillips finally scores as Red Bulls defeat Orlando City

Reuters

It took New York Red Bulls ace Bradley Wright-Phillips eight games and over 650 minutes to find the back of the net in the 2016 season. But find it he has, and at the expense of Orlando City.

Facing the Lions at Red Bull Arena, Jesse Marsch's side - winless in four games - found itself down 1-0 just three minutes into the game.

However, Mike Grella found the back of the net in the 66th minute to restore the draw, before Wright-Phillips flipped the script with not one, but two goals to give the Red Bulls a 3-1 lead to hold.

To be fair, Wright-Phillips' first goal was probably going in without his help. But a striker needs to score goals, and the Red Bulls will just be pleased with all three points in an eventual 3-2 win.
