The recent death of pop superstar Prince has prompted Baltimore Ravens left tackle Eugene Monroe to reconsider what he's putting into his body.
Monroe took to Twitter on Saturday to speak out about the dangers of prescription painkillers, noting that he's been prescribed opioids for many of the injuries he's sustained during his NFL career.
While the results of Prince's autopsy have not yet been released, it's been speculated that opioids may have played a part in his death.
Last month, Monroe called for the NFL to reconsider its stance on medical marijuana.
