49ers grab CB Rashard Robinson in 4th round

Crystal LoGiudice-USA TODAY Sports / Reuters

The San Francisco 49ers have selected cornerback Rashard Robinson out of LSU in the fourth round of the 2016 NFL Draft, 133rd overall.

San Francisco addresses arguably the most pressing need on the roster by doubling down on defensive backs with consecutive picks.

Robinson joins third-round pick Will Redmond in giving the 49ers a pair of young talents that could be developed into starters at the position down the road.
