MLB Network analyst Eric Byrnes said the call that led to the Rays' controversial win over the Blue Jays on Tuesday was spurred by a "wussified world," adding that he "puked" in his mouth after the double-play ruling.

Byrnes, an 11-year veteran known for his hard-nosed style of play, was beside himself after video review deemed Jose Bautista violated the new Utley Rule. The call gave the Rays the final two outs of the game, negating the tying and go-ahead run Toronto scored on the throwing error by Logan Forsythe.

Whether or not video review got the call right, it goes to show that MLB isn't afraid to enforce the rule, regardless of the circumstance.
