Report: Gonzaga's Domantas Sabonis declares for 2016 NBA Draft

Gonzaga's Domantas Sabonis will follow in the footsteps of his father, Arvydas Sabonis, and make the jump to the NBA, as the sophomore center will enter the 2016 draft, sources told ESPN's Jeff Goodman.

The 20-year-old, who was born in Portland during his father's time with the Trail Blazers, was just one of 22 players in the country averaging a double-double per game this season. His 17.6 points per contest were second on the Bulldogs to Kyle Wiltjer, while he led the program in rebounds with 11.8 and blocks with one per game.

Domantas was a key member of Gonzaga's run to the Sweet 16, averaging 20 points and 14 rebounds in three tournament games. Draft Express currently has the Lithuanian national as the 19th overall prospect in the 2016 draft.

The decision will likely end his college career, as Domantas reportedly plans to hire an agent, making him ineligible to return to Gonzaga.
