Mississippi State recruit Jeffery Simmons is in hot water after a video surfaced of him striking a woman to the ground, and although Bulldogs head coach Dan Mullen revealed a decision about his future will come, he reiterated to not expect it anytime soon.

"I'll let you know. We're going to evaluate it." Mullen told Michael Bonner of the Clarion-Ledger. "I don't expect anything anytime in the near future."

Simmons, a four-star recruit, and one of the top signees in Mississippi State's 2016 class, was charged with simple assault and has since apologized for his actions in the video.

Mullen reportedly talked to his team about the incident, and mentioned that he, along with many others in the university's brass, will be involved in the decision.
