Report: Corey Coleman will not run 40-yard dash at NFL combine

Scott Sewell / USA TODAY Sports

Former Baylor wide receiver Corey Coleman's continued recovery from surgery will prevent him from running the 40-yard dash at the upcoming NFL Scouting Combine, according to NFL Network's Rand Getlin.

Coleman will, however, participate in the bench press, and the broad and vertical jumps, according to NFL Network's Ian Rapoport.

The wide receiver underwent successful surgery to correct a sports hernia in December.

Coleman captured the Fred Biletnikoff Award as the nation's best wide receiver in 2015 after recording 74 receptions for 1,363 yards and 20 touchdowns.

Some believe Coleman will be a first-round pick in the 2016 NFL Draft.
