Iowa State dismisses D'Vario Montgomery; Josh Thomas transferring

Iowa State has announced that wide receiver D'Vario Montgomery has been removed from the program and running back Josh Thomas is transferring.
It's unclear why Montgomery was dismissed or where Thomas intends to transfer.
Last season, Montgomery racked up 355 yards and three touchdowns. Thomas ran for 295 yards and seven scores.
