Former Tennessee Titans quarterback Vince Young was arrested Monday morning in Austin, Texas on a misdemeanor charge of driving while intoxicated, according to Katie Urbaszewski of the Austin American-Statesman.

Court records reportedly show that Young was booked into Travis County Jail at 12:49 a.m., and that his bail was set at $2,000.

Young joined the Titans as the No. 3 overall pick in the 2006 NFL Draft after an illustrious college career at the University of Texas.

He'd spend just five years in Tennessee before the club opted to part ways in 2011, appearing in 54 regular-season games while throwing for 8,098 yards, 42 touchdowns, and 41 interceptions.

Young would land with the Philadelphia Eagles and start three games the following season, but he was unable to hold a roster spot with any club thereafter.

Now officially retired from the NFL, Young has been back at the University of Texas working in a community engagement role.
