Baylor: Corey Coleman going pro

Coleman will declare for the 2016 NFL Draft, 1660ESPN's Craig Smoak reports.

Analysis:

Injuries at the quarterback position derailed Coleman's season over the last three weeks, as he failed to score in the final four games after catching 20 touchdown passes in the first eight games, but Coleman still obviously had a great season. Listed at 5-foot-11, 190 pounds, Coleman is a first-round prospect despite a lack of obvious WR1 size, as his explosiveness is top notch. He probably would have pushed for 30 touchdowns if quarterbacks Seth Russell (neck), Jarrett Stidham (ankle) and Chris Johnson (concussion) didn't all suffer injuries.
