Les Miles: 'I have no idea' what future holds at LSU

If LSU and coach Les Miles go in different directions after the Tigers finish the 2015 season, the decision won't be a mutual one.

"I would love to think that there's another 11 years (at LSU), I enjoyed them so much," Miles said, according to David Ching of ESPN.

When asked about his future at LSU, or if there is one, the coach responded, "I have no idea."

Miles reportedly addressed his players Monday in a special meeting, but said Wednesday he hasn't met with athletic director Joe Alleva.

For much of the past week, the 62-year-old has been rumored to be on his way out of Baton Rouge. After beginning the season 7-0, the Tigers have dropped three straight - the team's first three-game skid since 1999.

Miles, who's been down this road of speculated job security before, admitted the persistent rumors about his future have taken its toll this season more than in past years.

"Certainly we've run into distractions before, but this seems to be a pretty prevailing and evident distraction," he said.

LSU wraps up its regular season Saturday against Texas A&M. Miles enters the matchup with the highest winning percentage in the history of the LSU football program, but might be looking for work shortly after the game.
