Like father, like son has its limits, apparently.

Manny Miles, son of LSU head coach Les Miles, won't play football for his father's program.

Instead, the multisport standout has reportedly committed to North Carolina and will focus on football, according to Jerit Roser of NOLA.com.

"This was something that took a lot of time and thinking about lots of talks with the parents," said Manny. "It felt right when I went there, and their coaches were great. So when I came back, I just thought it would be a great place for me. They run similar things that our high school did, and I felt like I fit that system right, so might as well stay in it for a couple more years."

The younger Miles is a quarterback and said he also gave strong consideration to committing to Michigan, his father's alma mater, until the school hired Jim Harbaugh.

"When they got a new coaching staff, conversation stopped and never picked back up," Manny said.
