After opting to transfer for his final season of collegiate eligibility earlier this month, former Michigan cornerback Blake Countess is headed to Auburn.

Countess announced the decision on his Twitter account Tuesday.

As a graduate transfer, Countess will be eligible to play immediately upon joining Auburn, where he should have the opportunity to compete for a starting job heading into the 2015 campaign.

Countess appeared in 37 games over his three seasons at Michigan, recording six interceptions and 114 tackles.
