Louisville landed a four-star quarterback Monday with the commitment of Tylin Oden.

A 6-foot-5, 180-pounder out of Spring Hill High School in Columbia, Tenn., Oden visited the Cardinals in early March and again during their spring game in April. He's ranked as the No. 7 dual-threat quarterback in the country on Rivals.com.

Oden told Steve Jones of the Courier-Journal on Sunday that Louisville was his top choice, but said he was also considering Mississippi State and West Virginia.

"Louisville is not that far from home, and on top of that, coach (Bobby) Petrino is an offensive guru...." Oden said. "I watched how they operate on offense. They run a lot of pro-style (sets). They spread it out and they throw it. They do a lot of things that I like and that I think I could perform my best at."
