One of the nation's top prospects, known for his hilarious signing-day shenanigans, is caught in the midst of anything but a joking matter.

Soso Jamabo, a four-star running back who signed with UCLA, was arrested Sunday morning and is facing multiple charges, according to the Kaufman County Jail inmate listing.

Jamabo was booked into the Kaufman County Jail at approximately 1:30 a.m. local time and is being held on charges of evading arrest with a vehicle, minor consumption of alcohol, minor in possession of alcohol, speeding, driving without possessing a driver's license and disregarding a stop sign.

Details of the circumstance have yet to be revealed, though it appears Jamabo may have attended the Plano West High School prom earlier that night, according to Naomi Martin of The Dallas Morning News.

Despite being ranked 4th on ESPN's Top 300 2015 recruits, the running back, who rushed for 2,279 yards and 44 touchdowns in his senior year, emerged as the class clown on signing day.

He made national headlines for telling TV station WFAA that his college choices were narrowed down to the University of Phoenix and ITT Tech - two programs that don't have football teams.

He ended up selecting the Bruins over Notre Dame, Texas and Texas A&M.
