Wyoming QB transfer Jason Thompson to play safety at Utah

Utah transfer Jason Thompson will make a position change for the 2015 season.
Thompson, who came over from Wyoming, will make the switch from quarterback to safety, accommodating the team's need at the position, according to Ben Anderson of 1320 KFan.
The junior isn't a stranger to flipping roles as he made starts at running back and quarterback in his freshman year.
Utah graduated both its starting safeties this year, Eric Rowe and Brian Blechen.
