Jake Roth / US PRESSWIRE

Former San Diego Chargers assistant Cris Dishman has been named Baylor's new safeties coach.

Dishman helped out with the Chargers secondary from 2008-12. He's also spent time with the Oakland Raiders and Miami Dolphins.

"We're excited about Cris Dishman being our safeties coach," Bears head coach Art Briles said. "He'll provide passion, knowledge and eagerness to continue Baylor's climb to an elite level."

The Bears also announced a slew of movements within the staff.

Running backs coach Jeff Lebby has been promoted to passing game coordinator and offensive recruiting coordinator.

Former NFLers Joe Jon Finlay and Brodney Pool - as well as Baylor great Dominique Zeigler and Michael Anthony - were added to the operations staff.
