Jaelen Strong will forego his senior year at Arizona State and enter the NFL draft, the school announced Monday.

The junior wide receiver had a breakout season, tallying 1,062 receiving yards and 10 touchdowns on 75 catches.

"This has been one of the most difficult decisions of my life," Strong said in a statement. "I’ve spoken to my family and we feel it is best for me to declare for the 2015 NFL Draft."

Strong will play his final game as a Sun Devil against Duke in the Hyundai Sun Bowl on Dec. 27.

He has 2,184 receiving yards, 17 touchdowns and 150 catches in his career.

"It has been a great pleasure to watch him grow into the young man he has become - a leader off the field and a giver in his community," head coach Todd Graham said. "We look forward to one final game together and we wish him luck as he gets set to embark on the next chapter of his football career."
