Boston College to honor Doug Flutie, 1984 team at Saturday's game vs. Syracuse

Boston College announced Monday it will be celebrating the 30-year anniversary of its 1984 team at the next game.

That team featured the famous Hail Flutie pass from quarterback Doug Flutie to wide receiver Gerard Phelan to clinch a 47-45 win against the Miami Hurricanes.
The 1984 Eagles finished ranked No. 5 with a 10-2 record after beating Houston 45-28 in the Cotton Bowl.
